The Forge Way

We don't run drills.
We build decisions.

Good lacrosse players are reactive. Great ones are decisive. Every Forge session is built around teaching athletes to read the game, trust their training, and compete with intention, not just effort.

🧠

Decisions over reactions

Sliding is a decision, not a reaction. Clearing is a decision. Dodging with purpose is a decision. We train athletes to see the game one step ahead, so the right move feels automatic under pressure.

🛡️

Identity over instinct

Every player leaves with a clear understanding of their role, on-ball and off-ball, settled and unsettled. We cover all five phases: defense, offense, man-up, man-down, and full-field transition.

🤝

Standards that stick

The quality of your defense is defined by the speed of your recovery. We build athletes who hold themselves to standards, not because they're told to, but because they understand why it matters.

We never force offense without advantage. We never slide without purpose. We never compete without identity.

Training Packages

Every rep has a reason.

Sessions are built around your athlete's position, role, and decision-making gaps, not a generic cone drill playlist. We work on the things that actually show up in games.

The Coach

I teach the game
behind the game.

I've spent 12 years in education and lacrosse, as a classroom teacher, school leader, and varsity coach. That combination isn't accidental. The best coaching I've ever seen looks a lot like the best teaching: high expectations, genuine relationships, and a system that makes sense to the athlete, not just the coach.

My system covers all five phases of the game, defense, offense, man-up, man-down, and full-field. Private sessions pull from that same framework. Whether we're working on your slide recognition, your dodging decisions, or your clearing reads, everything connects to a bigger picture of how the game is actually played.

"I want athletes leaving every session with something they didn't have when they showed up, a concept that clicked, a habit that's cleaner, or just the confidence that comes from real work. The game teaches everything if you let it."
